Quirky Decoration for Dining Room in East Sussex

Monday, September 15th, 2008

Keeping the eclectic theme that the client already had going through the 17th Century cottage in East Sussex, Spectrum Decorating Services sourced an original french newspaper dating back to 1835.

We then had the paper enlarged using a colour copier and collaged the sections on to the wall.  Due to the nature of the walls a normal wallpaper could not be hung as the edges would never meet up.

This effect can be applied to many different projects, childrens bedrooms being one really popular one.

Paint Effects for Hallway in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Saturday, May 27th, 2006

Using paint effects is not that common anymore, but after talking with the client that already had taken inspiration from something she had seen we tried a few different options to achieve the result she was looking for.

The appartment was in an old former mansion house in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

This combined a number of techniques using cracking effects on woodwork and antiquing the chosen wallpaper.

The result was impressive, if you have a similar project Spectrum Decorating Services can look at for you please contact us.
