Reclamation Kitchen in Tonbridge

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Spectrum Decorating Services has just completed a project for SGS Design in Tonbridge, Kent.

The instruction from SGS was to make all walls and ceiling bright and white.

We used a Brilliant White Diamond Matt to give extra durability being this was planned to be one of the main hubs of the house.

In order to put a bit of colour into the project SGS wanted us to use Farrow & Balls Cornforth White on the door frames and skirting boards.  Also painted in Cornforth White was the stunning Georgian Sash window, a main focal point above a butlers sink.  As an experiment we decided to try the colour in Farrow & Balls Dead Flat Oil, an experiment that was well worth taking.

Once we handed over SGS Design moved in to create a fantastic blend of new and old, an industrial antique looking living area.

If you have a similar project we can help you with please contact us, there is also a link to SGS Design on our Useful Links page.

Kitchen Gets a Touch of Pink in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

Our client had requested that the specification for her kitchen had to be bright and fun.

When going through the colour chart there was no suprise when the bright pink colour was chosen.  The walls were finished in Brilliant White Dulux Diamond Matt and kitchen units in the chosen pink as pictured.

Spectrum Decorating Services even found an old mirror frame that we sprayed with the wall colour and made a blackboard for those all important notes!
